We have stock market based website. We are looking forward to adding sophisticated stock portfolio module to website. Stock portfolio can be extension of stock module and can use stockapi module of drupal. Some of the most desired capabilities that we are looking forward to are:
1) User can have more than one portfolio.
2) Portfolios can be made public and private. Public will visible to all user including anonymous users.
3) Stocks could be bought and sold. Both transactions should be editable. User should be able to short sell the stocks.

We are currently redoing our website in Drupal that is going live in March. In addition to the new site, we are adding ecommerce for the first time. As the web developer, I have decided on using the Drupal Ecommerce module, but need assistance in implementing it.

So far, we have the following requirements for our ecommerce model:
Step 1 – Customer Log in
• First time input name, company, e-mail
• Assign password and login for future use

Step 2 – Product Selector
• Choice of Product families to select product and develop part numbers
• Choose parts or complete systems – systems includes sensor, cable, housing and transmitter
• Circle back as many times as they need to add to their cart from the various product families

Step 3 – Purchase/Checkout
• First PO is always either Credit Card or COD
• For future POs input company credit data – this is sent to Finesse finance dept for review and they will issue a line of credit for future purchases via a company PO
• Method of shipment is chosen – default is UPS Ground. For additional cost we will give options for faster service. We need to calculate shipping costs behind the scenes
• Sales tax will need to be calculated on all first orders. Subsequent orders can go Non Taxed if the proper documentation is provided
