....and I see instead of writing Drupal 4.7 and Drupal 4.3 as I should have done, in several places I wrote "Drupal 4.3", just to keep everyone guessing.
The point is that I have to use Drupal 4.7 on my host, but it shouldn't matter because the site is ultra-simple. One page, just a left-right horizontal strip of thumbnail graphics, zen theme, lightbox2 module, nothing else.

I'm building a right sidebar and the sidebar function needs to call 4 or 5 sub items to build it. But, I add the 1st item to a sub-function and call it from the main function and it doesn't appear, wtf This seems very straight forward, what am I missing?
Union Web Services is seeking an experienced Drupal Developer or Site Builder to upgrade multiple sites from Drupal 4.x or 5.x to Drupal 6.
Candidates must have experience with upgrading Drupal from versions as early as 4.5.
All existing functionality must be preserved by implementing updated versions of modules, or through new modules with equivalent functionality, subject to approval.
All existing content and users must be preserved. Data loss during upgrade process is unacceptable. Downtime during upgrade must be minimal.
Themes do NOT need to be updated; you will implement an existing Drupal 6 compatible theme. However, minor modifications may be required, so candidates should have demonstrable skills in basic HTML and CSS editing.
CiviCRM experience is highly desirable.
Experience with SVN is desirable.
Candidates should be available to begin work immediately.
