Sorry if this isn't in the right section - can't find anything more appropriate.

I applied for a CVS account a few weeks back. Got a reply back asking me to re-read the requirements - I had foolishly forgotten to include a link to the module I wanted to submit. I corrected and re-submitted my CVS application. Got an email back asking me to explain how my module differed from a few other ones. I replied to that email, and also using one of the support forms on the site. Haven't heard anything back since, and its probably been about two weeks now.
I have very long article. I'd like to split article into 2-3 pages or more. What I've found is book module, but it's too complicated for my needs.
Any other module can do this? I do not need any advanced features, just display article as 2-3 pages.
I have found that when I add a table to a 2 column template the link HOME disappers from the top of the content area. It reappears when I hover over it, but then disappears again. Has anyone else had this problem? This does not happen in our default 3 column template. Thanks in advance.
I am 2 months old in Drupal;
I started using Drupal 6 (only project I used Drupal 5 was for Ubercart);
I like Drupal a lot
but
the most annoying thing I ran into time and time again was finding modules i need that are not ported for Drupal 6; I know the policy is that the community should take care of that but, I gues it doesn't work as good as expected;
Drupal 7 will come out and a lot of useful modules are not even ported for Drupal 6; when i see Drupal 7 in more and more places I get scared cause of this
I currently have a site using Drupal 4.7, and I want to upgrade to version 6.6. I have made some minor tweaks to the theme, but I can recreate those myself once the upgrade is made. I've tried upgrading to 5.5, and keep having database and other errors. When I install 5.5, I keep getting the page asking me to give a new name to create a new database. It won't seem to run Upgrade.php, it just keeps going to that page.
I've never made any customizations to the database. Right now, the site is up and running after I restored the Drupal files from my backup.
