i started using boost module and i noticed files are cached in the form of html pages

does this affect page rank?? google used to see an article called
www.blabla.com/article1 and now it will become www.blabla.com/article1.html

will google consider this a new page and give it a new initial rank?

i have got a weird problem with boost
many pages are cached correctly while others are not cached and i find this error in logs for each of them

Can't download anything with Drush today. Assuming this is related to Drupal's FTP server being down which is causing links on the site not to work. Does anyone know of a workaround with Drush? I am kind of new to the tool.

two questions are puzzling me regarding drupal's caching

1) when i set minimum cache life time to one day does this mean that cache for all pages is cleared each 24 hours together Or does this mean that each page has a separate counter that clears its data every 24 hours sperately?

in short , is cache for all pages cleared the same time?

2) i noticed that when i clear the cache manually within seconds i see pages loading very fast when i browse the site anonymously but when i log in i found my site slower

i am using devel to troubleshoot site speed, i noticed that node_tag_new takes a lot of time
can i stop that function from being called somehow?
