Drupal 4.7.x

Hi,

I'm doing a MAMP install of a site that is working just fine on the external server
(http://opendemocracy.net)

The local MAMP install is mostly OK, but ... admin/module comes up blank. The local apache log reports:
[Sat May 24 12:38:11 2008] [error] [client ::1] File does not exist: /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/modules, referer: http://localhost:8888/oD-May08/trunk/admin/

All other admin menus are working fine.

I am new to Drupal and I am using the Admire-Orange Theme.
It is a fixed with theme, with 3 columns. I want to decrease the size of the right column and increase the middle column.
I couldn't figure out which CSS styles to change.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have just purchased a VPS from CheapVPS.co.uk and I have to say they are cheap and good!

There is an important change you need to make to the .htaccess file for Drupal sites installed at the public root directory on sites that use a virtual document root such as mosso.com.

The specific task is to modify and add some of the user access controls in order to modify the user display for specific user roles.

Most of the functionality could have been done with the regular built-in 4.7 access control features, but the developer we used in the past chose to do it with php.

Now we are just needing to make some changes to what the previous developer did.

I would really appreciate it if anyone who has used Drupal for e-commerce reasons, could let me know which shopping cart systems would be good to look at to use in conjunction with it? I have a budget of up to £1000 for the shopping cart if need be..
