Converting to Drupal

I'm writing a script to convert from SF-Active to drupal, but can't work out what these fields in the node table do:
status, comment, moderate, sticky and format.

Also, will it be OK to import Node IDs from my previous database? That will make redirection of old links much easier. I'm assuming the auto_increment function in the database handles existing values gracefully...

I have downloaded the voting modue & nodevote.module..& i have enabled that in the administer-->settings.when i select the rating i get a message ..error..just above the stars.On seeing the log file of the apache its telling that the voting file isnt there..can someone help me out with this problem....

I searched around for a bit of a guide to this, but I could only find how I can import the user list from an Invision database to the Drupal database. However, this I have already done. Now I would like to have Invision and Drupal use the same database, and since Drupal will still be upgraded periodically, I thought of modifying the Invision code and editing the Drupal user database somewhat. Should be easy, albeit tedious work.

I have downloaded images.module ,imagegallery.module & album.module....I am able to upload images..I am able to create an album & upload images.....when i select the album the page shows unable to create thumbnail/preview....but the images are shown down...
