I find drupal a wonderful system but now i got a big problem with migrating users from nuke to Drupal
I used the migrate script from http://www.quillem.com/nuke2drupal . But it seems like the script only wants to migrate 155 users. Also there are lot of forum titles that are gone ater migrating to drupal.
I would really like to bring my year old blog over from b2Evolution. I want to add some features over just a plan blog. I DO NOT have the skill to make this happen. If there anyone that has the skill or desire to make this?
To bring the Cats over, the posts and the comments. I am not sure how hard this would be....
There are only two content types at the drupal install - a flexinode I set up called an 'entry', and forum posts. At the moment there aren't any forum posts at the other site to worry about and import.
Hi all
I've been using Infopop's ubbThreads for sometime now, having converted from phpbb about a year ago.
I was planning to integrate Wordpress blogging into my community until a friend recommended i take a look at Drupal.
I have to admit that i'm impressed. It took me all of 5 mins to download and install Drupal and have it up and running - much simpler than ubbthreads.
I have some perl code that cheerfully parses a static html/php site and puts the content into drupal. So far, so good. What i need to do now is to be able to assign categories to content on the fly. Can someone explain how the taxonnomy module stores content in the db? or even a tutorial on it? I've searched a lot of stuff about it's flaws, but cant seem to find a description of how the taxonomy interacts with the node table.
I want to contribute this module to the community. I've been very impressed with the Drupal architecture and how easy is to write modules to it.
This module lets you move your Xoops site to Drupal. It moves your users, forum (newbb) and tinycontent. I'll add other modules as I need like news, mantis and xoopsgallery.
To use it go to the settings > xoops and configure the xoops db connection settings.
Then go to the xoops migration link under administration. There is a link for moving users, forum posts and tinycontent.
