Recently I installed drupal to replace an existing site running mambo.
Something was out of date and the site was hacked.
After trying to restore the site for a few minutes, I just gave up and forwarded the site to the drupal install.
The database is intact.. so its just a matter of importing a few relevant tables.
I had a few questions after reading
> http://drupal.org/node/80195
> 3. In this guide I assume you have a forum in your Joomla site. Drupal has built-in Forum Discussion then you don't need to install additional module
I was using simpleboard 1.1. How can I import the threads?
A lot of very important content is held here, although converting this information is a lower priority than converting the content / users tables over.
> 1. Joomla only supports single Section/Category
> First, you must transfer all Joomla-Sections to Drupal-Categories
There is a lot of important content saved from the mambo site, however it is not well categorized.
All existing content can be assigned to a default category.
No category info needs to be imported, Im looking forward to assigning multiple categories to much of the content.
> Introtext vs Teaser..
I didnt follow this. I want is to make sure that -all- content is saved.
What method do I use here?
