Converting to Drupal

I created 2 pages. The About page is /node1 with Directors being /node2. I want Directors(/node2) to be a child of About(/node1). Please help me with this process

I know this is a beginner question, but how do I change the main page. For the life of me I've searched and cannot figure out how to do this.

I have a small site using Joomla. I would like to migrate my usernames and passwords from Joomla to Drupal. I don't really care about anything else. Can this be done just by copying the usernames and the password hashes to the Drupal users table? Has anyone done this before? Thanks in advance.

Many of my phpbb users postings appear as written by 'Anonymous' but some postings retained the user.

I want to understand why this is happening and why not all the postings have the correct user.

I know it has been talked about here but there is not solution.

I'm converting a Textpattern site to Drupal, and import all the information to the database. I get all the nodes and terms in place and I can see them on the site. But when I try to make a new one, the normal way through the site, it tries to overwrite the existing nodes/terms. What do I do wrong?

For the nodes I insert the data into node, node_revisions, history, node_comment_statistics
and for the terms into term_data, term_hierarchy, term_node

I run a website for a local basketball camp and I currently have them setup with a modified version of Wordpress setup to run as a CMS and I customized colors and image on the existing template. After doing some research I would love to convert them over to Drupal to hopefully make things easier to manage for me and to make content easier to add for them.
