Need help migrating your site to Drupal?

phpBB2Drupal "You are not ready for the migration yet. Check the settings above." but all settings seem OK

wish it would say *WHY* I am "not ready for the migration yet."
Like *WHICH* of the settings is wrong.

Can anyone advise???

My phpbb database is on a different database from drupal but I've set that in the settings OK and drupal reports it can find the phpbb tables OK. e.g.

* Module forum is enabled. OK!

* Module node is enabled. OK!

* Module comment is enabled. OK!

* Module user is enabled. OK!

* Module profile is enabled. OK!

* Module taxonomy is enabled. OK!

Help to develop a weblog aggregator with Drupal

I need to transfet to a new CMS an exsiting site and so develop a project to build an aggregator of blogs in a certain geographical area and I am planning to use Drupal. As I have never used this CMS I need your help, please.
The idea is to build a site more or less similar to the newly redesigned bitacoras.com. That is, from a series of blogs build an aggregator where at the main page show the most recent blogs updated, and then internally, it can browse the posts of the blog, Blog category, date, etc..

It appears that the aggregator module fulfills this function fairly. I have also seen the feedparser. Wichh one is better for this? Are there others?

In addition, I would like to have:
- Top Stories appearing one an extract initial post (not complete), as opposed to the inside pages, where should leave altogether. It is possible?
- When you click on the name of a blog, I would like to access to an information page of the blog with data such as URL of the blog site of rss, labels and even a site map with Google Maps (as at http:/ /bitacoras.com/bitácora /www.neuroticweb.com/blog , for example).
- It is possible that when showing posts of blogs listed in the aggregator you can add features such as voting posts (with stars, for example) or add socia bookmarks (send digg, delicios, etc. ...).

moving from iWeb 08

I'm completely new to Drupal and CMS, but I see myself needing a CMS in the near future when my site will grow. I previously simply uploaded my iWeb pages to my webhost and that worked fine. Now that I want to use Drupal, how can I "import" my previous site? I know that this is a complete beginners' question, but I don't know where to start! Any help would be much appreciated!

Website with multiple products

Hi,

I'm really interested in converting my website to Drupal. My website currently uses asp scripts to pull product information from a database.

Are there any modules that would enable me to upload and display a lot of products with ease? I would also like to add "by now" buttons to individual product information pages.

Any advice would be great.

David
