Converting to Drupal

Hello.

I am moving a WoW guild site into drupal. They were using guildportal and the dates members joined the guild is important information to mark seniority and whatnot. I am trying to find a way for the admin on the drupal site to be able to -easily- change the date field of when a member joined so that when the users are created on the new site it will show they have been members since the time they joined the guild.'

Is there a way to do this without going directly into the SQL DB?

I'm very confused. Before Drupal, I was a 100% html/css/php hand-coder. I'm the kind of guy who makes his own CMS because I know what I want, and no one else can do just that as well as I can.

Unfortunately both coding and updating content for all my sites is becoming impossible to manage, so I'm giving Drupal a try. I'm a complete novice at Drupal, I've tried looking at some of the stuff in the handbook, just none of it is really clicking. 'Categories' sort of seems to be the direction I should be heading, but I could be completely wrong.

I've been playing around with Drupal, and I can understand it enough now to create a new theme and basic website using pages searching and basic taxonomy terms (Its a very powerful cms btw!)

I'd like to use the power of Drupal to create a free-for-all resource or directory whereby users specify which state / region around australia they are from, then they see different dance studios in that area, and they can see what events are coming up in that area. (so the dance studios could post what events they have coming up, ie, link the studio and the event somehow)

Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to migrate forums, articles and users from Tikiwiki 1.9.x to Drupal 5.x

Hello i'm new to drupal i've only recently installed a few days ago. I have a site that I would like to convert over to a Drupal theme. I have not the knowledge to do so. The site is http://192.168.1.67/www.thecondenser.com/ The site is undergoing major changes and etc..it's not finished. I was hoping that if I could get it to a Drupal theme then I could finish creating it. If anyone could help please reply here. Or email me at progamist@aim.com
