I am hoping to be able to write a Handbook out of this. Basically I would like to create the following:
www.mysite.com - corporate site
sub1.mysite.com - community site
sub2.mysite.com - community site
I have been reading the various articles on multisite setup and am confused as to the best solution. I would like to create community portals that are managed by the users themselves.
In e107, there is a specific convenient page for news, I can set the news page to the numbers of news I would like to display per page, at the bottom there is a link to previous news posted (eg
)
Is there an exisiting module that can help me organize all my stories into one page (other than the main page) similar to the 'news' feature of e107
Any insights is highly appreciated
Thank you
I would like to know if there is a vBulletin bridge out there.
I have just changed the front end of my site to Drupal and would like to bridge the VB database so the my forum user's can login and post comments through Drupal with there VB login.
I know there is VBDrupal and a few other custom versions of Drupal out there but for many reasons I have to use just standard Drupal. Is there a module that will bridge the user's from VB in to standard Drupal?
I have a previously done website which was coded in xhtml w/ css. I was wondering if there was a way to have drupal manage that site versus creating the site within drupal. The didn't take super long to do, but I like the layout etc so I'm hoping to preserve it. Also, if I have to rebuild the site using drupal, I am looking for something more along the lines of a corporate page versus a blog, maybe its just the themes I have looked at, but they all seem very "blog" oriented.
I have been working on a Drupal 6 site for some time now and I am trying to separate the admin from the site as much as possible because the design does not lend itself well to the administrators functionality. Does anyone know how to force the block module to utilize the admin theme if set?
Would this work better if I created a multi site install and use one for administration only?
Is there a way to disable the Admin for the Live site all together without using ugly IP address hacks?
