How do i convert my site to drupal for better management and effectiveness. Its based on Wordpress.

Converting static .html music webportal to drupal CMS

Site is getting too big to handle (1000+ .html pages). To get control, drupal cms is the solution.

The website is about arabic music, 200+ artists, from 10.. differentcountries. Very huge. I don't know how and where to start building?

Category (country)
sub-Category (Artist music page)
sub-sub-Category (artist music biography) -- sub-sub is not necassary, we can put this also in the sub-category --

Take a look, The music website: http://www.kurl.nl?1E43

Cannot make vertical footer links horizontal

Hi all
I have spent a full day yesterday searching and trying different solutions but I cannot seem to get this to work. I want a series of primary and secondary links in my footer then some evenly spaced blocks below them. So the links will look like this:

But no matter what I do the links appear in a vertical list
link
link
link
link

I know this is a styling issue but can someone tell me how to get a horizontal instead of a vertical menu in my footer?

Thanks

About to go live, but difficulties to migrate multiple users with same email

During the past year, I've gone through the Drupal learning curve. The good news: we're almost there to convert our existing site to Drupal. The challenge: all migration scripts are ready, but we face some challenges with multiple users who registered with the same email. In some cases, it's because they never activated their registration, but there are also cases where key users are registered with two accounts with different roles. At the moment, these duplicate users are not migrated, but their posts are, which results in orphaned nodes.

node's primary link

If I'm at a node, how do I know which primary link it is assigned to? Betting this is easy, but I'm a drupal newbie.
I was looking at the menu table and can do a while loop to get to the top, but figured this is probably built in, just can't find it.

Thanks

Where does fid come from?

I'm importing data from a legacy system into Drupal. I'm trying to figure out how the fid is created in the files table. Where does that come from? It doesn't appear to be auto-generated in the files table.

Thanks in advance for your help.
