Need help migrating your site to Drupal?

Multisite navigation

Howdy.

I need to set the site with a few subsites sharing content with the main site, but not with each other. E.g if I write something in the subsite, it'll appear on that subsite and main site. But if I write something in main site I would like to choose on which subsite it'll appear too [one, many, or maybe none]. All subsites should have own theme, own navigation etc.

I've set multisite configuration with several subsites in /sites subdir and modified settings.php for all of them to use different theme, site name and homepage.

Matching story to specific taxonomy term to show on page

I have a lovely menu set up using Nice Menus and Taxonomy.

My clients have put in a whole bunch of content and tagged each with one or more of the tags set up in taxonomy.

Question...

If I have a menu that is news/features, how do I get the items tagged features onto that page?

Seems like it would be simple and maybe I am just burnt out for the week, but I just am not getting this to work.

How to have Wordpress like pre defined Comment values by Cookies?

Hello,
i almost finished to migrate my Wordpress Bases Website zu Drupal 5.7.
One thing that i could not find yet is about th comments.
In my blog lots of visitors leave comments, that are not logged in.
So to make their life easier, i would like to have emailadress, name and website already filled out with thier lastentered values.
think that is default in wordpress and for me very important.

how can i do this with drupal?

XML XSL Lookup defined by a profile variable?

This is going to sound retarded but I've spent 6 hours today trying to do something that should be so simple. I've got tons of different stuff working but nothing totally working.

I have a simple list of ID numbers attached to corresponding values. This was done in Excel. I want to export that in XML and load into a Drupal block. However, I want the block to only show the value assigned to one ID number that will be saved in a users profile.

Searchable Database for Content

*Note* I am not sure if this is in the correct thread, so please notify if it is moved. *Thanks*

I have just started migrating to drupal 6.1 yesterday and I feel that this will finally be the CMS that I keep.

Converting existing MySQL database to Drupal tables

We have a moderately complex, non-drupal, mysql relational database previously created to track the status of datasets generated with oceanographic instruments. We would like to translate this database structure into drupal so that we can do things like extend tables with cck and generate "reports" with views and make use of modules like workflow.

Before we commit to drupal for this project we need to confirm that we will be able to:

1) generate a drupal view that will perform queries like the following on any three of the database tables in the drupal environment:
