Problems using the feed aggregator

I'm in the process of migrating to drupal - I've been experimenting with the feed aggregator but have been having problems with it. When I click on the link in the left hand column of www.robives.com I get a page of code rather than the clean news stories - what am I missing?
Thanks!

transferring a PHP script to my new Drupal site

I am currently developing a site on drupal 6 and I am trying to transfer a PHP script that I had someone create for me. The program that is on my old site can be found here http://www.backcountrykitchen.netfirms.com/sitev2/member/foodwiz/start
It was setup by someone I'm not in contact with anymore..

Serving part of a Drupal site directly (not from Drupal)?

Serious noob question here: I have a site which is currently all static HTML, but has some PHP pages in a subdir (admin/) -- both the URL space and the actual directory on the site are admin/. I'm going to convert the main site to Drupal, but I'd like to continue to have the admin/foo.php links bypass Drupal so apache serves admin/foo.php when users go to https://example.com/admin/foo.php (they are forms that submit stuff on the back end, and would be painful to convert to drupal).

Possible? Easy? Any pointers?

Converting from Drupel to...Drupel!

I was recently contracted by a friend of mine to fix a website which was 'built' overseas in India. (http://www.probeinternational.org/)

Much to my surprise the website was actually a cleverly hidden rip-off of this Open Source software. I don't know what they've done to the coding of the site, or if they have even changed anything aside from removing almost every reference to this website, but the site is a total cluster-fuck. Aside from the obvious design flaws, there are all kinds of irrelevant data types inside the drubel system, and the site just doesn't work smoothly. There are broken links, and pages displaying incorrectly. Some articles are one data-type and other articles are another for no apparent reason. This causes all kinds of weird issues when trying to add content. For some Categories you have to use one content-type and for another you have to use a different one, even though you're still just adding an article. Some Categories will display the Latest Article, and other won't, and some pages I can view all the articles, and other pages it brings up a 404 error. I can't comprehend why the site functions the way it does, and I can't make heads or tails of how they are organizing things. It's...just...fucked.

Here's an example of all the data types I feel are redundant:

Converting from Drupal 4.7 to Drupal 6 by creating a fresh Drupal 6 install and importing rather than upgrading.

Hi,

I have inherited a Drupal 4.7 site. I understand that to update it from 4.7 to 6 I have to do the intermediate step of upgrading to 5 and then again to 6.

I have just gone through and checked the modules installed. Many of the contributed modules that we are using are no longer supported. I was thinking of creating a fresh Drupal 6 install and somehow importing the content instead of upgrading. This is partly because I want to change the way the site works anyway.

Newbie: Mini Blog side bar - how do I.

I'm in the process of converting my website to run under drupal. I'm new to this so I'm still looking into the feasability.
How would I go about recreating the "What's New" column on the left hand side of my front page?
http://www.flying-pig.co.uk/ Would it be possible to show only the last five entries but allow the reader to see earlier entries?
Thanks in advance for your help/advice
