I have a drupal 6 site that is currently using the gallery module to bridge a fairly large gallery2 installation. I have been considering moving this into drupal but haven't a clue how to go about it.
My requirments are
1) import file titles, comments, descriptions, and galleries from current G2 database and match them to the correct files
3)Descriptions on thumbnails
2)Subgalleries with descriptions
Currently each user has their own gallery but I would be willing to drop this feature.
I would also be willing too upgrade to Drupal7.
I'm helping to develop a website with Dreamweaver that is becoming data-heavy and is quickly outgrowing the Adobe tool. The site, still in development, which you can view here -- http://learningworksforkids.com/m2/parents/index.html -- is an educational technology site that, when it launches, will have 1,000 pages of video game guides, 100 supporting pages, and 2,000 PDFs. The site will continue to grow beyond those numbers week by week. It will also have an active forum, a blog, and many videos.
im maintaining 2 sites for a kindergarden. One in wordpress, one in drupal. The sites are for single kindergarden which has 2 units. The site is password protected (currently .htaccess). The sites have some similar content like news and menus for breakfast, lunck, snack, but stuff like gallery and schedules and group activity is seperated.
I would like to combine those 2 sites into one drupal site and i have a problem with the enabling or showing menu for specific type of users like users from group A to see only menu related to group A and so on.
Is it possible to identify a website whether it is build using drupal or website build using other cms or a static web page. if it is possible please tell me how can we identify that particular website is build using drupal and how it differs from website build using other cms.
Thanks in advance.
