Migrate V2 on Drupal 7 fails during import

Hi all.

Recently returned to Drupal after sometime using Wordpress.

Have spent past 2 days trying to get Wordpress data into Drupal 7.

Have users in via Feeds. Migrate v2 and wordpress_import continue to fail. Currently looking at an import screen stuck at 67% - has been for the past hour. This is a constant theme. I have tried fresh installs (this is, fortunately, on a development site). I have tried quite a few suggestions - all fail.

Is there any point persevering?

Cheers.

Mike

From Mambo to Drupal - E-zine

hi all,

In the past I used to actively run an on-line magazine www.enochianapocalypse.com which was created in Mambo like 8-9 years ago.

Recently my web host provider decided to shut down the servers so the site will be down soon. I have saved all the content and SQL files on my PC and was thinking to relaunch the magazine under a new format and concept, must probably Drupal.

converting a site from Joomla to Drupal, date problem

I have a MySQL table like this:

CREATE TABLE `rooster` (
`datum` date NOT NULL default '0000-00-00',
  `tijd` varchar(15) NOT NULL default '00:00:00',
  `wat` varchar(30) NOT NULL default '',
  `data` varchar(128) NOT NULL default '',
  PRIMARY KEY (`datum`,`tijd`,`wat`))

I want to create a view (=drupal view) with this table, but Drupal complains about the date....

Help with parent child relationships between content types (nodes or Taxonomy)

Hello,

I am new to drupal but so far LOVING IT! Having an issue and can not find a way to resolve it:

Brief Description:
I want to have parent child relationships between data (like artist name and then child under that songs), so weird al is parent and eat it, lasagna, etc) is child/songs. Each parent/child will have different fields associated with them so they would be different content types.

DETAILS:
I am working on a site that has stories on the home page (easy) (two different content types), then I want to have one of those content types have child nodes/relationships. For example board games and pieces. A parent record would be battleship and the child record would be all the ships and little pegs.
