gmap and members interaction

Hi everyone!
I was wondering if anyone could give me a hint on how to use gmap module in order to do the following: I want to grant permission to registered users to add points of interest in a google map linking this points to a specific node describing the place. It doesn't sound too hard to do but I dunno from where to start.
Thanks,
Jan

pay-per-node module with OGs

Is there a collision of access control system of pay-per-node module and of OG? Or can I use the pay-per-node module with OG module?

OG Subscribe Link

I don't seem to find a way to see how I can put a Subscribe link on the Groups page like what is there on groups.drupal.org

The only thing I see is

Title Subscribers Manager Description

- Subscribe column and the link to subscribe to a group is missing.

Is there a module I should be installing?

Need some answers

Well after reading a post on helping others...I'm almost afraid to ask, but its probably less than 15 minutes of someones time if they are willing to talk with me about the possible use for Drupal on my site concept. So, if any of you hard-core Drupal junkies have some time to discuss with me if Drupal can handle my needs, I would be extremely grateful. If you are willing to go further, and have some time to put into assisting me develop this concept and make it a reality, there would be compensation. Of course, you would have to buy into the concept.

Requesting help for tackling creation of multiple nodes on the creation of an organic group

Hi everyone,

I'm currently creating a community site using Drupal 4.7 and one of the requirements they have is when a group is created, an FAQ 'book' is also created. However, I'm not exactly sure on how to create a book related to the group at the same time a group is created. I've tried to look through the API if something like that is possible, and gone through the forums with no luck so far. However, some of you might have already experienced this before and thus might know of ways to tackle the problem.

Drupal for college

I'm developing a college-based website based on Drupal and will be a kind of blackboard for several colleges in New York area, so far. It is new, does not have much on it yet, but I'd like to hear what do people of Drupal expect of a college blackboard website. Any suggestions are welcome!
A little bit off the topic, the Drupal's Support, Handbooks, Forum, Downloads, Contribute, Contact and Community links on the very top - are they categories? B/c I tried to make a category, but it wasn't visible.
