I am a total newbie to Drupal. However, I can do some programming using LAMP, HTML and CSS if required. I am trying to build a MySpace like community site. I need advise on how to go about building such a site. What modules do I need to use and how can I customize the default Drupal configuration?

Please let me know if Drupal is not the right tool for this job. In such a case, please suggest alternatives.

Hi Guys,
please don´t punish me for this question, but I have a very big problem with configuring my drupal installation.
At the moment an avatarpicture appears on every post into the personal blog of a user. That doesn´t look very good. ;-)
Do you know where the option is to stop that.

I would like, that they could upload a different picture for every blog entry they post.

I want to reinstall Windows Xp soon, as I got a virus and after cleaning the computer doesn't work as smooth as before. I gives some strange erros and sometimes it justs hangs up... I want to backup Outlook Express emails and settings before reinstall, and restore afterwards. Any help?

I am interested in linking all of my "pages" with an html form that allows the user to issue some sort of customized response (customized as in the action) to the page. Is this best integrated by having a link to a separate module ON the page, and if so, would it be best to modify the way pages are displayed or simply the content of the page, in order to link to this module?
