I am currently building a site with Drupal 5 which relies heavily on the Profile module for much of its functionality.
I am searching for a method to manually check and approve (or reject) changes to users’ Profile data: If an existing user changes some data in his profile, the data should be made public only if they have been approved by an admin or someone with an appropriate role. (Yeah, I’d like it to be more open myself, but there are some legal issues to heed…)
I am developing a community and I would like to give each user the ability to create a shared list of their files (or any other type of item with a description) to show other users in their group. When they are creating such a list/table/inventory I would like them to be able to customize it so that they choose how many columns it will have and what each column is called. Is there a good module that does this?
In this white paper, written by a United Nations staffer, it is clear that even large, bureaucratic government agencies are starting to "get it" with respect to social software and communities. It provides some good background for making the argument to corporate, NGO and government agencies, if that happens to be your situation.
I recently discovered the site http://www.popurls.com, i thought it was great. I wanted to create something similar. Does anyone know how i can go about to create something similar using drupal. Maybe there are modules that can help me create it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much for your help.
Hi there,
I am a Drupal fan from Egypt and I started with some friends here a local Drupal community, http://drupalegypt.org, to support the whole middle easters.
I would like to know your ideas about such community sites and if you have any advises please drop me an e-mail.
