Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I can't seem to find an answer anywhere. Anyway, I wanted to know if there's a way to add a profile field that only administrators could change. I want to add a points field that starts at 0 when people register that admins could edit later when they fulfill certain requirements outside of the website.

Sorry for my english (i'm french)
I have 2 roles (X and Y) and I want to disable the possibility for Y to edit it profile.
In the admin/user/access I've disable "edit own profile" but it doesn 't work.
Have you a solution or a module for that please ?
permission_lock not resolve my problem

Alright im going to be running a webcam community chat site and im going to be using drupal i was wondering if anyone had any usefull links or advice for running somthing in that catagory with drupal (any advice is good advice) thanks ahead of time.

Hi, I'd like to know if Drupal could do the following. Members can access their own calendar and set events in their calendar and create an address book for addresses and telephone numbers. Is this something I could do with exisiting modules, if so which modules do you suggest using? I think I could create the address book manually i.e. INSERT then SELECT but not sure how I'd associate it with a members account for Drupal.
