why dont we do this the democratic way and let everyone vote?

this years vote is of couse kept open till new years eve.

and everyone can nominate his choice of company. once
the nomination should be time limited .. say one or two months max
then it goes into the poll.

(mt) Media Temple has added a new Grid-Server hosting package. One feature it adds is a one-click install for Drupal along with a few other software products like WordPress and Gallery.

I just want a web host with decent speeds, and supports drupal including CLEAN URLS!!!

Does anyone have any reccomendations? i can pay up to 15 a month.

Does anyone have any experience with siteground hosting? Can pretty large, drupal based websites run relatively fast from their shared servers?

I just switched over three sites to Dreamhost, but they are running really slow. I did a lot of research on them before making the move, and it seemed like the majority of Drupal posters that had experience with them were satisfied. There was a strong minority that noted slowdown issues, but it seems like some of these were resolved in the first couple weeks of service.

DH customer service says that I'm on low volume servers. I'm not sure if changing php and mysql versions has affected my sites - though I can't see that being the issue.
