Your phpMyAdmin max. concurrent connections number?

I have 2 hosting account. One at cheap company which is very reliable with database max. concurrent connections 47. Another one at Business Plan from ixwebhosting.com which is more expensive but with max. concurrent connections 451. I always have database issue in which my sites are failed to load. The ixwebhosting.com always have to reset their database server and everything back to normal.

Hope to do some feedback from Drupal users.

Need Opinions on New VPS Offering.

My hosting company is just beginning to offer VPS in addition to dedicated servers. They've given me the following plans. I'd like some opinions. The disk space and bandwidth on all of them is more than sufficient. All plans are using PHP 5.1.6 or higher and MySql 5.0. Their other hosting packages have Zend Optimizer, so I'm sure I can get them to include that.

I will be hosting 10-12 relatively low volume Drupal sites that are not currentlly using a multi-site set up (but I'd like to fix that).

I have serious doubts about Plan 1 with only 128MB memory. I've also seen people question if 256MB will handle it.

I am not impressed with the pricing, but keep in mind that I wouldn't have to do any moving myself.

Recommendation for a UK hosting company for a big site!

Hi

I'm looking for a UK company to host our new Drupal site. The current non-drupal site gets around 200,000 unique visitors per month and around 1.5 million page hits. Ths hosting company needs to be in the UK and have good connectivity as the sites users are from around the globe. We also want a high level support service from the company..

If anyone has had good expereince with a company that could be suitable then I'd welcome any recomendations

Is anyone using Joyent for hosting?

I'm looking to switch webhosts and I was wondering if anyone in the community has any experiences to share about Joyent, and Joyent Accelerator in particular. Unfortunately, I can count on one hand the number of posts in the forum that mention Joyent and still have a few fingers left over.
