Hosting support

I have posted in another thread about looking for a hosting provider, I am currently with 1and1 and not happy because of how Drupal performs with it.

I have been turned on to Mosso and am very impressed and have a great first impression as they tell me it will blow the doors off other hosting companies using Rackspaces cloud hosting.

It is $100 a month however, any feedback from Mosso by anyone?

I am Using drupal 6 for our site, the url is ilfsspring but now we are facing speed problem. to speed up we use Alternative PHP Cache but no effect.

Is any body faced this problem, please refer how to increase speed of the this site.

I was hoping I could give my situation and someone could advise please.

I currently have about 30 sites that I am hosting through 1and1

Most sites are either Flash sites or just static sites through iWeb but I do have about 10 professional sites that I am currently developing in Drupal. The problem is I am finding with 1and1. Number one it is slow and secondly it has 100mb per database.

All of the drupal sites are very very heavy in modules and when the modules get too numerous I keep getting an error message about Out of Memory. After researching I have found that this is due to the database size in 1and1, that along with the slowness of my Drupal sites makes me want to switch hosting companies.

My question is which one would be the best for me? All of the sites will be large and rich in modules with the potential to have thousands of page visits per week. I am going to need a hosting company that can accomplish the size and make the site load quickly.

I have seen some recommend Rackspace, some Bluehost. It is hard to know who is recommending the best for me and who is recommending because they have alternate motives. I was wondering if anyone had feedback.

Would shared hosting be ok with the right host or would a dedicated server be better?

I'm looking for suggestions on hosting for an Adult video site. I will need some space for videos and as well would like something that supports that latest version of drupal. Does anyone have any suggestions? i prefer to have my videos on the same host as drupal is installed on.

Many of us see ad's about hosting some with very cheap fees and some with very high prices. But the question is what are the most important things that we need to ask for, from our host for the best speed and performance?
How can i know that the performance issue is with my code or with my host?

I am migrating a website with about 125,000 page views per month to Drupal.

Do you have any recommendations on hosting?

One concern: I'm a bit worried that hosting with a managed server will require a lot of expertise moving forward, as I'm using to controlling things with a shared hosting Cpanel app... My developers will do the install and testing, but after that, I'd like to manage things. Does anyone have experience with Rackspace or others?
