Hosting support

Hi,

I was using shared hosting, but recently decided to move my Drupal website to a UNIX VPS with Verio.

The site works OK, but unfortunately, the Drupal .htaccess file is preventing me from accessing Verio's site control panel, CPX, which is essential for any maintenance.

I asked Verio for support, but they state the following:

I'm trying to get ISAPI Rewrite installed on a Godaddy Virtual Dedicated Windows Server with IIS6. I would use ISAPI 3 however its a x86 processor. I have Parallels Plesk 7.5 installed.

After hours of research I come to this 2 host to host 1 drupal site (new)

the problem is at this moment of time 130am EST I'm unable to reach both of the support

MidPhase tells me that their sales working hours isn't 24 hours while I always get leave a message by TMD

this is frustrating...if any of you guys can recommend something else let me know thanks

I have a website that I want to make a subscription site. I have installed a shopping cart, but I need to set up the site where you have to create a username and password to enter. I want people to be able to view the highlights of the article, but when they hit read more, it sends them to the subscription part. Can anyone help me with this issue? What do I need? Well it's been a while since I last made a site, and now that I have my hosting service, domain etc. I forgot how to do one crucial thing, upload my drupal tar ball to my server :p. I am using Filezilla and Jaguar Hosting. Any help would be nice :D
