I was in the middle of the Drupal Basics videocast listed under Handbooks. It seems to have disappeared and the links now point to some empty forum at UMich. Anybody know if this is coming back?

What are the best reference pages to (1) learn JavaScript and (2) make sure I'm using it the way it was intended withing the Drupal environment? I do not know JavaScript now - but have a live Drupal site.

I'm mostly looking to do auto complete boxes and mouse overs... but would like to "learn it all!"

This is also for my report where I've to draw a DFD. I installed Drupal 5.1 at first it has 40 tables with some 69 records, as soon as I add a page without menu and other things only title and body it affects many tables and the total records are 79. Can anyone tell me which tables it effects and how?
Which tables are affected when I add a blog or a poll?
Can anyone tell me where can I find a data flow diagram of Drupal 5.1?

Hello all,
I'm trying do draw the Entity Relationship (ER) diagram of primarily the 40 tables that get created when drupal is installed. The core tables have many primary key short names like nid which I assume means Node ID then what does uid, vid, tid etc stand for. I need help in drawing the ER-D of drupal 5.1 please help me. I googled for it but didn't get good results please help fast.

Hope this is the right place to put this, don't want to spam the forums! I've written/recorded a text/video tutorial called: Creating a Custom Home Page in Drupal Using Views.

This seems to be a pretty common question for people new to Drupal so thought an article on the subject would definitely be worthwhile. It's mostly text with two videos to reinforce the written content.
