How to assign an existing node as the translation for another node?

Here is the situation:

I have two webforms already created, each on their language, spanish and english. However, the user did not create one as a translation for the other. This has happened repeatedly and therefor it is a problem. Language switching block doesn't work properly obviously, since they are not associated as translations of eachother. Recreating the webforms can be a real time consuming problem, it's not like we can just copy paste the content like on normal nodes.

My language switch does not show up??

Problem with module's translation file

Hi all,
I wrote a module which includes a translation file(.po) in translations folder.
when I change the translation file(.po) and reload drupal page which contains module I don't see any changes in the page(for example if I change 'Home' to 'abc' it remains 'Home')
what's the problem?

thanks.

Langauge Links

What is the best way to remove the language links in the links section under the content area? For example the French link under the content on this page (http://vbplus1.com/main/training/training) - I feel like there needs to be a better way then hook_link_alter().

Thanks,
Steve

english for admin, chinese for users in drupal 6

in drupal 5, this was so easy. i just enabled english as default language for my admin account but default language for the site is Chinese.

it seems, in drupal 6, i can not do this any more.

I have tried to set

1. Default Language is Chinese.
2. "Path prefix with language fallback"
3. Prefix for English is "en"
4. No prefix for Chinese.

however, the default language to anonymous users is still English without any prefix.

Could anyone tell me, is there anything i did wrong? or this is a problem for everyone?

Thanks!
