I built various Dutch sites in D5 and D6 and localisation works fine with a few exceptions. My main concern is the Search module. If a search yields no results, Drupal produces the English Blue Smurf message.
Typically I translate or replace this text in the search module itself, so by hard coding. But I think it would be a good idea to enhance Drupal with two features:
- Make the text customisable, just like the 403 and 404 messages.
- Make it translatable in other languages. Most webmasters will overlook this corner in the platform.
I´ve been trying to change the language of my site from English to Bulgarian. I installed the .po file but when I try to save Bulgarian as a default language, the Drupal doesn´t let me do it. It just doesn´t want to check the radio button.
I'm new to drupal, only start 3wks ago, I'm trying to setup a community website, I require two languages English and Chinese. I trying to make it clean and uniform site as possible and avoid showing display two languages showing in a page. I try setting up Translation, multilanguage content, and internationalization, but there is some translation missing beside the code
I'm using Drupal 5.x with the i18n and Read More Tweak moduls.
My problem is, that "read more" of the Read More Tweak modul will not be translated.
If I deaktivate the Read More Tweak modul it works fine - but without placing "read more" inline anymore, etc. (the reasons, why I did install Read More Tweak).
Is there way to translate the "read more" text of the Read More Tweak modul? Will it be possible to use Read More Tweak with i18n?
