I am almost ready to go life with my website. Everthing is working fine in two languages. I am running i18n and other language related modules to make everything work. All my open issues are regarding translations.
I'm new to Drupal translation and I was wondering how I could get the Date API to display months, days, etc. in French. I created a calendar with Views and it's also displayed in English even if my website's language is set to French.
BTW, is there an easy way to also translate other modules like "Watcher" or "Quote"? I've tried Strings override but it's not always working.
EDIT: I've tried importing the .po files from the French translation server (http://l10n.drupalfr.org), but it doesn't seem to be working
i use in my php code t() function adding new strings translatable. I have a multilinguale website and a would like to translate strings i define with t() function.
I did a string search with Locale module but i don't found strings i created.
I am trying to find a language support module, which could do the following :
* They need to be viewable in their native languages and native character sets over the internet
* They need to be downloadable in their native languages and native character sets
* They need to be printable in their native languages and native character sets
So Basically Users will upload contents in their own Language, and the site must make sure that the contents are viewed it as is & support all local characters.
Background:
I've built a major site using Drupal, and combining the modules i18n & domain access for a multisite-function with translatable content and user interface.
The problem at hand now, after successfully managing to get different domains to share a database, content types and content after own specifications, is that I've still got the translation of the content type names to tamper with.
I tried to avoid having to write a topic about this by searching the forums, without any luck. Now I come to you folks...
