Translations

Help! the menu translation. Some pages display the current language menu, but some pages display 'blank'.

Hello Drupalers,

Little problem when translating interface from english to french.
With translation table module or the search tool in "Translate Interface", i can translate menu items, but i can't translate the menu name.

How can i translate menu's names ?

I need a way to email the user when I post a custom content type that references their user name. Is there a module out there that can do this? I'm not a developer so it would take me 3 years to code this myself.

All you need is the rules module. Its pretty easy to set up in case anyone googles this :p

I would like to know how to change the language of the nodes already created. Somehow I have created them unknowingly a different language. I am wondering how it can be changed after the node has been created.
On the page /admin/content/node/overview I have mix of language statuses (english, russian), but all nodes made on russian.

I am creating an English/Spanish website displaying a mission statement on the homepage.
I've typed in the English (being the default Language) for my Slogan, Mission and Footer message.

What's the best way to translate these variables so that when you switch language they display in the other language?
