Theme development

Hi all!

I manage a drupal 7 site, and we're redesigning some pages, design and stuff. We have a news page we're all news appears; but is a simple page with two columns of news with a title, images, short text and a view more link. Is a really simple page and we like to redesign it, we already have a great design that id like to use but i dont know how to create new views (using view module) and add fields and information like appears at the design as follows:

I'm having some trouble replacing the header on my site with a small GIF I created.
Right now it is just text (my name) but I want to replace this text with the GIF (centered on the page).

I've looked at a few other forum posts which sort of deal with this but they haven't
helped me much in fixing this. It's probably very simple to do, however I'm still getting
acquainted with Drupal.

Hi Folks,

I'm having trouble with a getting my site to extract specific fields within a content type. If I follow the simple steps here (http://akyl.net/how-extract-and-theme-drupal-7-fields-out-renderpagecontent) I get no content displaying at all - which is odd.

I'm generally rendering my content like so:

print render($page['content']);

Hi,

I am trying to get three elements to line up horizontally - I know this is not a new problem! - and be responsive in nature.

I need the left element - a menu - to float left, the middle element - an image - to float in the center, and the right element to float right.

I don't seem to be able to get them to line up or even control them. Very frustrating for a Type A personality, like mine!

Can someone point me in the right direction.

Hello guys,

I'm a total newbie in Drupal (and not very good in CSS). I want to put a block in the right side of my page. What the theme (Corporate Clean) offers doesn't fit my wishes. So I've tried CSS...
