Theme development

Okay, I promise I have tried to search this out on my own, but how the hell do you make changes to Radix pages? Do I have to use the software or can I hard code it? I have been beating my head into a wall trying to figure out how to move things around, and I create or install subthemes but it does not seem that I can disable the menu from the bloody page.tpl.php file. (I just want to make it so that the menu is below another bar where I am placing the site logo object.) I am sure this system makes sense, but for the life of me I cannot figure it out.

I'm new t o drupal and i do not know much about it, and it seem i have a problem changing the head of my drupal site.

i want to change the header to an image and remove the logo, the site name and slogan, and replace all of it with an image.

i use Bartik theme and i do not know much html or css.

I want to have backbutton in views page..

The button is added at the bottom of this code.. As Administrator I can see it normally.. But when I log out, it´s gone.. Any ideas ?

I wanted to post this code because it is a strange yet illustrative example of just what can be accomplished with a multidimensional array and a well placed for loop when rendering links to nodes.
This was a project which I was asked to enable the backend user be able to control the display of links to products, each group or type of product having its own content type. I might have designed this arround the search api module if I would have had my choice but I came after the site was built so I used individual node templates to output specific groups of content.

Im running a site that has lots of podcasts. In order to work with those podcasts in a new project the url;s must be clean. When i go to the download url now I get lots of characters .. for instance my mp3 url has several characters in it that are not clean
