Theme development

I was hoping someone could tell me the specific steps I need to take to add Modernizr to my Drupal 7 Zen sub-theme. I've already created my custom Modernizr script at modernizr.com.

Any help would be appreciated!

I already know the answer to this, but what is everyone opinion on putting Javascript and Logic into template files? and can you cite any information supporting your stance?

I want to print a custom field of the commenter's profile (their website). It is an Link field. Some users have that field completed and other not.

I've read a lot of posts related to this and tried several solutions. The only code that seems to nearly work OK is the following (found here):
