The Washington DC monthly Drupal meetup is scheduled for Wednesday, January 24th, at the Science Club (1136 19th Street, NW). We'll be in the basement again and will be throw a heck of a party (Bonnie is making cookies for the Birthday vibe). We'll of course tie some presentations into the fun.
The line up includes:
Earnest Berry from NOAA about MSSQL Drupal integration
Mike Haggerty from Trellon about 2nd life
Ted Serbinski from Lullabot will give a quick update about 5.0 and cool things being developed for 6.0 (about 5 min or less -- it'll be the Drupal community monthly update :).
You are most probably interested in Dries' presentation, since all other sessions were in Hungarian. We had Marcell Kiss-Tóth helping us ... all » with a video camera, and after his hard work with the editing, the conference session videos are now downloadable. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3785659620797492234
For Coloradoans (and road warriors in neighboring states) not on the Denver User Group, there's a Drupal Meetup happening in Boulder on Monday, January 15th at 6:30ish. Drupal 5 and Drupal's 5th Birthday are both topics of the evening.
On Thursday, January 11th I will host a CMS Academy, Drupal webcast which is part of Worldbridges. I wondered if anyone would be a guest on this week's show. I would like to ask what you are doing in the drupal.org to help our listeners and participants know what drupal.org is and discuss possible solutions to some questions we have at the academy.
I am a drupal developer and I see some interest on meetup.com for a SF bay area and was thinking about forming one - anybody here interested? Meetup costs these days...I wanted to guage interest first.
