Events

i have installed the Events module...its great...although have a minor issue i just cant resolve

when altering the event.css i managed to change all the necessary colors other than the purple shaded cell that denotes the first day of the month in the calendar

i have tried altering 'event-calendar td.selected' but this doesnt change it...is it hard coded somewhere?

using Moodle developer toolbar, when i hover over the cell, the latter part of the path is (if the date is Tues, May 1):

>td # may1.may tue selected > div.event-empty

There is a national congress where 400 to 500 responsibles of students associations accross France are expected on saturday 28th of April in Paris. (see the announcement in french on http://drupalfr.org/node/1276)

I will present drupal during this congress upon the topic "how to promote his association".

The presentation will be short (max 30 min). I would be glad if someone can point me out some useful documentations on this topic.

Ok, humans,
I have a very simple question, and I just have no time to analise this.
I just trans from Joomla to Durpal, and I am interested:
How to create page where would be shown only content from specified categories ?

What I mean is that, that I need to have a pages like news magazine where I have menus like a:
Sport, Health, Global News, Business.

But in Joomla it is much simplier to create pages and content.
Can anyone tell me, how to achive this.

This is my first attempt at using the Calendar module. I followed the directions for creating an "event" content type and posted a first sample event for April 3, 2007 from 10:00am to 12:00pm. The event shows up on the month and week views, but not on the day view. Ultimately, I'd like to take this day view and insert it onto a landing page for my logged in users which will summarize their daily activities, so it's important for those events to show up on the day view. Any ideas what might be causing this?
