Boyzvoice.org

I've done a fansite at http://boyzvoice.org. It uses the itheme theme. This theme matches a lot of Boyzvoice's album covers so didn't need to change it much.

inokeerrati.com - Local band website built with Drupal

Inoke Errati ("I Know Karate") a local indie band from Windsor, Ontario, Canada. As a favor to the band I built their site using Drupal. The basic design and layout of the site has been loosely modeled around the sites that Sony BMG is putting out. Please check it out and leave feedback here, I'd really appreciate it.

Some of the modules used on the site include CCK, Views, Embedded Media Field, and Advertising.

I do have a few questions for anyone willing to help.

Helping hand to success with egBuddy.net

Hello everyone. I am a first time user of Drupal and was impressed by it already. I have been lookin' around to find the best fit type of CMS for my kind of business. Right now this site maybe not as impressing as others have posted here, just to show you guys that so far I've used around more than 10 modules and there aren't any problems I have encountered so far - unlike my previous CMS application.

You can visit my site at at http://www.egbuddy.net.

Herbal information site now on drupal

My site is http://www.henriettesherbal.com , and I have

  • 11k+ pages (imported with http://drupal.org/project/import_html ) (fixing book structures has taken me months, and I'm still not done),
  • currently 1k+ photos (imported with image_import, part of http://drupal.org/project/image ) (I'm adding the other 7k old photos as we speak. Once that's done, I'll start adding new photos.)
  • a taxonomy system of 15k+ botanical terms, plus a couple hundred terms in two other main vocabularies.

Among other things.

A few observations:

  • Most of my content is in book pages. The "prev" and "next" setup is just too good to let go unused. Dunno who'd even use "page" or "story" content types.
  • Editing taxonomy terms with 16000 items takes very long for each edit, so I'm doing most of my taxonomy term edits using either mysql directly, or using phpmyadmin. (I fail to see why the editing form needs to load all of these terms, every time.)
  • I've had to put set_time_limit(0); at the top of /includes/form.inc because the node editing form would time out far too often, otherwise.

This is my first customization, feel free to post feedback.

Intended to be a community site for the town I live in. It would be nice to hear what you think of it.
