Yesterday we released the new site for Sveriges Förenade Studentkårer (Sweden's United Student unions).

It's built on Drupal 5.2, with the use of modules like CCK, Event, Views and Localizer.

I am proud to announce that www.oldskoolindustries.com is finally live!

My client is a Volkswagen specialty shop that sells parts online; his last osCommerce web site was lack luster so doing some research I finally decided to create something based around Drupal and Ubercart. Drupal allowed me to work with a theme package that I felt like I was in control with, and Ubercart just fit perfectly into the groove for e-commerce.

This site is being redirected at the moment because the host told me that Drupal 5.2 and PHP5 were not compatible; knowing I could get this working I talked to a friend who worked at www.jaywebdesigns.com and said sure we have Drupal 5.2 and PHP5 working here already. I joined and am now in the process of figuring out how to mask the domain correctly.

Either way this site was originally created on Drupal 5.2 and Ubercart Alpha7b; due to hosting issues I decided to move to a new host and along with it the SQL database. This was a first for me as I have never done this; everything uploaded fine, I was able to access Drupal again right away. I was able to successfully move Drupal's database to a new host and upgrade Ubercart to Alpha7c at the same time with absolutely no issues what so ever.

I am very happy with this site and can not wait to see it grow. I want to thank everyone else who helped me to get this site rolling!
