Melbourne, Australia - A group of university students have developed Enviromanya, a science kit for kids that addresses current environmental problems and its biotechnology solutions. The kit's online sales and company site have been built on top of Drupal. The company site is located at http://www.yaxpert.com

From the Website Team: "When designing the site, we searched for a easy to implement software that could be tweaked and further expanded as necessary. Drupal's framework with pluggable modules and themes proved to be perfect. A large user community and widespread implementation of drupal on several many websites indicated that it was stable and well supported. The team also tried using Joomla and Wordpress before settling on Drupal. Drupal worked quickly even over a low speed internet connection with several users online at once."

The site used the following add-on modules in addition to most of core:

Future site plans include adding experiment videos and online competitions for kids.

I just launched my first Drupal site which is for the Howard Stern community. As we're giving shares in projectstars inc. to the top 100 scoring members every three months, one of our members came up with the great idea of posting projects for enhancements to the site we've been asked for but don't have the resources to do (we're self-funded and working 24/7 at the moment!) so I've posted a project for mass group subscription here if anyone wants to take a shot and get in with a chance of getting close to becoming a shareholder:
