Something strange. Anonymous users have no permission to do any postings (as far as I know :-) ), but somehow the can. The result seems to be a little strange. When I want to display the posting which appears in the logs than I am redirected to something else. The posting can not be accessed.
With phpMyadmin I can see that the comment excist and I can read it, but in Drupal itself it can not be accessed. Anyone with an answer? What am I doing wrong? Or is it a bug?
Okay... I dunno what I did. Everything's fine when I'm logged into my site. Once I log out, I get Drupal's welcome message. The one that you get right after installation:
In 4.5 RC, I have permissions set so that anonymous users can post comments if they leave their contact info. I tried to see what would happen if I used an existing username. It told me that the name is already being used by a member, and the page becomes all screwed up. When I scroll down, there's another header below the footer and a set of left and right blocks inside the content area. Not sure how to describe it exactly... You can go to my site and try it to see what I mean: http://danzeth.com.
I would like to add an RSS feed to the aggregator. I've addded the feed, but the feed is behind a username and password protected site. Is there a way to specify username and password somewhere to all the aggregator to access such a feed? I can get to it through Thunderbird's newsreader using the username and password for the site.
When a user signs up for an account, or edits his account, he has to put in the birthday because there aren't any blank options in the birthday menus. Is there a way to change that so users can choose whether or not they want to enter their birthdays?
I have a phpAdsNew rotation on the site revoked by remote JS. And it works.
However, what I would need to do is switch banner zones displayed according to the taxonomy section, ie.
www.mydomain.com/hair/ (?q=hair) so that all subcategories (ie. q=hair/styles) and nodes (ie. hair/styles/hairdresser) belonging to the hair section use the same code snippet ie. include a different JS.
Can you give me an advice on the approach and especially on the IF clause for the taxonomy?
