I've installed and been able to enable the Features module, but can't figure out to add anything to it. When I go to its page in the admin area, I get an empty table with the following heading columns: name, description, category, details, image, operations
I'am running with Drupal rc1 with the included Chameleon theme. The "Submited by" is disabled for page nodes. 5 Page nodes are promoted to the front page and one of them is also sticky on top. The Submitted by is not shown, so far so good.
I've installed 4.5 - and can no longer find the control for crating new roles. In 4.2.2 it was under administer->accounts (see for example http://drupal.org/node/4433#comment-6910), but I no longer have an "accounts" menu. Should it be there, or has it moved somewhere?
I created a number of categories within the PROFILE area in 4.5rc.
#1: I left the "Page title:" area blank. After they were all created, I went back a few days later to EDIT and ADD page titles in the "Page title:" area. It is NOT listing the Page titles for those that I've configued to be shown on member listings... bug?
I've spent a GREAT deal of time administrating a 4.5 RC site that someone else installed without issue.
I'm very pleased! I'll make a couple of comments that I hope will assist others. I've still got a few issues..that could be bugs, or me missing something. Please let me know where I might need to correct something or if it's a bug in need of getting fixed. Ok, here we go:
1) ADMIN>USERS>CONFIGURE>PROFILES;
Will we soon be able to create/designate PIVOTS for USER defined terms? Example: "FAVORITE BOOK LIST" each book title should PIVOT to other members with same TITLE listed in their profiles. I don't think that this feature is built yet. I notice that if I choose a CHECKBOX or LIST SELECTION it PIVOTS perfectly. Would be nice to have it PIVOT as a SELECTION/checkbox for any field the ADMIN would like to be "PIVOTABLE" and then definable with what the USER inputs.
ISSUE: Updating profiles sometimes NOT saving. Reverts to already saved data.
ISSUE: HTML Text editor DEFAULTS to ON in profile this completely erases ALL data that was input in OFF mode I.e. LISTS are now completely GONE that were hand input! That's a very nasty one.
ISSUE: Shouldn't DATE in Profile follow the same formate as chosen in ADMIN: example 10/01/1967 I want to read 01/10/1967.
2) Image Galleries: Link shows up correctly on the top of the site... and says 'image galleries' when link is selected but it is not showing any images, even though there are about a dozen images uploaded. Image block on left side is also empty. What am I doing wrong?
With drupal 4.5rc and mailhandler module v 1.63 2004/07/20 (from contrib).
I am using retrieve links in admin/settings/mailhandler/retrieve to receive the emails from the INBOX of pop3 email. Mail delivery is working well, except the read and unread mails were not distinguished. Every time i click on retrieve, i get a bunch of mails (read and unread emails). My email client is squirrel mail.
I am not using cron because of the above bug, usage of cron leads to mail flooding (its obvious).
