Post installation

ok,

I got clean URL working fine... But now I can't access any directories that I add under root.

I can't acces phpmyadmin at http://intranet/phpmyadmin/
or any other application I add.

I tried adding .htaccess in the /phpmyadmin/ directoroy and turning Modrewrite OFF.
Didn't work... Any ideas ?

How to I use separate directories, with clean urls turned on.

I would like to have a Start Page. I.E. A Flash Intro to the Web Site. How can I do this??

I have done this with Postnuke in the past and since I have moved over to using Drupal I would like to duplicate this same functionality. I found a reference to something similar to this request, but it was in older versions of Drupal. And refered to patches that do not seem to be available anymore.

Hello, i am using the book module to write some 'travel guides' so each book (country) will follow a common structure with similar headings/sections. Is there anyway automate this process or must I recreate headings for each one. (This would be a bit of a drag if I decide to alter the format at a latter date of multiple books)

I have come across error "Failed to parse RSS feed Testing Feed: invalid schema ." when i add or update a item for the aggregator and i cannot able to view the posted aggregates in aggregator page.I can be able to view in admin/aggregator but not in aggragator .I have enabled the aggregator module.

I've just installed Drupal, it works fine. Now I downloaded the germn pod-file, but I found no instruction how to install / activate the german language ... ???

Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question, but, when editing a user account and saving changes, the user picture is lost.

Any1 else experiencing the same problem with 4.5?
