Post installation

I'm using pushbutton theme and getting into trouble when some user decides to write a text line 'longer than usual'.

So I upgraded my 4.4 site to 4.5, which went smoothly, but try as a I might I can't find any way to set access permissions on a node-by-node basis, either per-user or per-role. There's nothing in the handbook about it (or, rather, I can't find anything about it in the handbook). Searching the forums leads to references to an external module "node_privacy_byrole", but all those references seem to predate the release of 4.5.0, and the release announcement for 4.5.0 clearly mentions "Node level permissions".

i am getting tons of crap in the error logs - mostly 404 error message of anonymous users from different IPs going to pages.

sometimes it is from one IP address in a short period of time:

I inserted data using node_import... But users were not given view rights by the node_privacy_byrole module...

Anyone else had this problem ?

I never had any trouble with this before, but I had trouble adding an Adsense block in 4.5.0. If anyone else has had problems, all you have to do is set the block as PHP. Since you don't have to enter the tags, you can just paste the code into the block. Nothing else worked for me.
