Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

How do you remove BreadCrumbs?

I think that is what it is called...breadcrumbs. Those links you get over the top of your main page.

HOME > Administrator etc....

How do you get rid of those? I really don't want them to display on my site. Any help?

General RSS feed in Syndicate block is not including flexinode content

The RSS feed from the Syndicate block is not including the content from the flexinode content types. My site at http://www.chicagobean.com has a flexinode content type that I'm using for events. But the events don't appear in the RSS feed, just the standard pages/stories appear in the RSS feed.

Similar Entries Display ONLY one content type

Im trying to make my Similar Entries module display ONLY one particular content type (a flexinode type that has only 1 field).

Does anyone know where inside the Similar Entries module code I can specifiy what content type I would like to show?

your help is very much appreciated,

MySQL error reappears daily: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock'

Drupal 4.6.4
Operating System: Linux
Apache Version: 1.3.34 (Unix)
PHP Version: 4.4.1
Mysql Version: 4.1.14-standard

Warning: I'm not a developer or webserver expert, just an administrator trying to get a Drupal site live and working, so I may need slightly more detailed help than some folks. I'm not dumb, however, so I'll do my best to understand if someone can point me in the right direction.

We've had our new Drupal site under development on a VPS for a couple of months now, slowly getting content transferred from the old one and modules installed, testing all along the way. A short while ago, we experienced a sudden MySQL error and subsequent server problems that caused our host to move our stuff to a new server, configured in the same way that the previous one had been. After tweaking, we thought things were okay, but then the same MySQL error started re-occuring:

Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111) in /home/thetown/public_html/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 31
Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111)

We got the host to check it with this result:

It looks as though the wrong mysql was installed with your
version of apache and php. Everything was fine until apache reset,
then it broke. This appears to have been a problem in our original

how to view content using taxonomy?

Hi,

at http://drupal.org/node/31319 it says:

Each module that produces content may have a page that lists content of that type. For example all blog posts can be seen at the blog path. Content that has been categorized using taxonomy terms have a page for viewing that content.

just below there's a comment without reply from another user "alexmc" who got to the same problem as me:

How do we find out about this? What sort of URLs should we try?

Please help. Thanks.
