Hi - newbie question.
I'm getting the number '1' appearing on a site i'm working on

Found the following explanation in the forums:

But it relates to the xtemplate engine - can't find the equivalent code in phptemplate engine, which I'm using with the 'friendselectric' theme

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi,
I upgraded from 4.6.5 to 4.6.6. after the upgrade, i submitted new pages. and set the to be promoted to first page. now, the new pages preview on the front page id the entire article, resulting in a very long front page. any ideas?

I think I might be asking a stupid question but since i'm totally new to Drupal, PHP and SQL, I'm lost.

I've been asked to make a magazine-ish site for a group. They want different section themes for different columnists so when the columnist updates his or her section, it will appear as new updates in the main page. I have no clue where to start or what to do. Any help or suggestions?

I am building a community photo album site. Drupal is much better at community sites than my other CMS solution, Joomla. However, from looking at the available photo gallery options (acidfree, gallery,etc) it doesn't appear that any of them are really good for a community site - they seem more suited for a gallery run by the site owner.

I want users to be able to upload to their own albums, allow users to vote on photos, have the best-rated photos promoted to the front page and allow users to send those photos as ecards.

well, I try to make that the users can add their own picture, and it's not working... well it works, but doesn't resize the picture and give me error like this :

Hi, there. We having our web-site developed using Drupal 4.7 b4.
The problem is the following:
When I try to search fo english keywords in Drupal search, the results provided are ok. When I try some only cyryllic characters, searcgh provides me all, or almost all nodes of my web-site. Even if site's content is not indexed (0%) it shows me all (or almost all) nodes.

P.S.
Drupal 4.7 b4.
mbstring installed.
MySQL 4.0.x.
No problem with unicode before this.
