Post installation

I am using Flexinode to handle software reviews. When I display a Flexinode table, (flexinode/table/1) it defaults to being sorted alphabetically by name. If I click on the "Software Category" field to change the sort order, it sorts it nicely by type of software (flexinode/table/1?sort=asc&order=Category).

However, creating a menu item for this sorted URL doesn't work. It tells me there are no items to display. Is there a way to change the default sort order, or a way to make the link to this sorted list work?

I am using my primary site links as a link for each member in my family. I would like this to change the "mode" of the navigation menu. Is this possible?

I'm new to Drupal, though not to PHP/SQL/webdesign. I'm currently setting up a site for publishing political commentaries by a small number of contributors and I'm running into trouble how to organise things. With regards to the Drupal way of doing things, I'm a complete newbie, so if I end up being an idiot, feel free to tell me so. I'm using Drupal 4.6.6.

I get an error (in Apache error_log):

FATAL: emalloc(): Unable to allocate XX bytes

I increased 'memory_limit' PHP parameter to 32M (a maximum allowed by my hosting provider) but it doesn't help.

How to limit memory consuming of Drupal scripts?

(I use CivicSpace distribution based on Drupal 4.6.6 and CiviCRM 1.3)

I have the problem in responding automatic email response after create a new user. Although i set in the smtp setting, it doesn't work. Where should i check it for? Please advise me. Thanks in advance.

I'm just wondering if I maybe missed this somewhere: is it possible to set a specific content type to default to a certain taxonomy term? I want all image uploads to be dropped into an image gallery I've created instead of just into , but right now I have to rely on the users selecting the gallery themselves. And I just don't trust them to get it right. = P
