Post installation

Currently running 4.7 beta 6. When anonymous users visit my site the "Create Content" link is visible to them. I've read this isn't supposed to be available to users that don't have permissions to actually create contnent.

Anyway, when anonymous users click on "create content" the node/add page displays with a text line saying "You are not allowed to create content." I would like to change this text and also add links to the registration page and the login page. Please advise where I need to edit this info. Thanks!

OK, I guess I am a "module developer" now so I should know better.
However... well, I am *very* confused about this matter.

I need to offer people a way of uploading images for one node.
However, I also need to:

* Place the images for the node XXX into a directory named XXX. This is important because I will easily reach 20000 images in the next year, and I don't want to kill my file system. I guess a good spot for them would be htdocs/files/XXX/?

I have used drupal for a while and am very impressed. I have just uploaded a new theme though, reflection, and the index page is not showing any title.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Would I do this by assigning different taxonomy terms to forums? Where would the tamplates be? Would the forums be displayed as the taxonomy node type using the taxonomy node's template?

I've been programming in C/C++ for 20 years, but it is taking me a few days to get my mind around Drupal's structure, being new to PHP as well.

I am trying to make a block that will show random ads from Amazon. I want to put in some random code into the block that will pull my ad code from a text file somewhere on my site. I've looked up a LOT of code snippets and none of them seem to work. Can anyone direct me to a system that could work?

Hi. This is (I hope) probably an easy fix or workaround, but since searching didn't find anything, I'm asking here. My problem is that flexinode (with the excellent Fleximax patch added on) apparently expects URLs to be entered as www.example.com, because when it generates a URL from a URL field, it adds its own 'http://' into the href attribute.
