I think this question will have a simple answer - I apologise in advance if this has already been asked but I did do some searches without seeing any question to fits my description. I'm running Drupal 4.6.5.
When an anonymous user sees my homepage they cannot see any 'Add Comment' links on the Teasers, but if they read the full article they can. When I log in (as administrator) I can see the 'Add Comment' links on the homepage. Is there any way to show the add comment links for anonymous users on the homepage?
I am trying to configure the search for a Drupal site.
I am trying to do two seperate things, with no luck so far.
I'd like to be able to link directly to the 'advanced search' option, rather than having to toggle it on by clicking on 'Advanced search'. I can't see a link that goes directly to this.
Any clues?
As a seperate issue, I don't want the users to be able to see the section of the advanced search form: 'Only of the type(s):'.
Is it possible to hide this via CSS, or do I have to dig into the search module code[would rather not touch this].
I'd like to create a members only area (not just all authenticated users) of sorts on my site where members can create and edit structured content freely and see a created menu from that content.
Currently I'm using taxonomy_access to make a category of nodes that can be viewed and edited only by members of a certain role. Then I made a new menu, added a block for it and wrote a php-snippet that shows the block only for members of the given role. But, I can't find out a way to allow members of the role to add and edit menu items only for that certain menu.
Certain pages on my website look wrong in IE, but fine in Firefox.
Take a look at http://thebrothertons.com/node/add using Internet Explorer. None of the background images, or page colors appear, and the layout is totally wrong. But, it looks perfect in Firefox.
