Is there a module I can use to attach files to blog posts I make?

I have created some custom content types. How, for a text field greater that 1 line, do I enable HTMLAREA editor for these fields?

Hi, the drupal site I'm working on needs to be private and I was wondering how I can make the site viewable ONLY to users. How can I accomplish this?

OK I am a newbie,

(I've just installed drupal at www.jessymagic.com and I still don't understand how I can customize Drupal.
I am a bit disappointed to see that the basic configuration doesn't seem to allow pictures. )

I am now trying to install "Panels".
I came to the point where the "Panels" module is available under "Administer", so I created 2 panels :

Panel title URL Operations
test1 panel1 edit | delete
test testww edit | delete

I want to install drupal, but wondering if I do install 4.7.3 now would I have problem upgrading to 5.0 completely without a problem?

Or should I hold out and not install drupal till 5.0 is finally released in a couple of months?

I say this because I don't want to spend time on a 4.7.3 and create a site just to find out I can't have 5.0 fully.

am using drupal 4.6 and the applicable version of the views.module

I would like to be able to say, show the nodes assigned to xyz taxonomy term and were posted after mm/dd/yy.

I see the options for fixed periods but not open ended periods like this. Can this be done? If so, hlow, considering I am in 4.6.
