Drupal is up and running but how do I ...?

Page is ALL messed up when viewing in Firefox! (It is my style.css)

Well I think it has something to do with me customizing the style.css

I am using IE, Drupal 4.7, and the Noprob theme.

I use firefox every now and then and haven't checked my site until now. I just started getting a few members so I would like to fix it before I start getting complaints :)

I did a search and saw some posts on IE being messed up.....

Is there something that I need to add to my css file to get it to work? I am clueless...

What modules to install

I need to build a community and was wondering what modules to install to accomplish this...
Or at least the most things on this HUGE list...

notify users when another user fills in same cck feild? (Similar module+notify?)

Hi everyone,

I just realized that this would be a VERY important feature for my site and don't know why I just thought about it!

I have read about the notify module and similar module but I need something more specific. Is there a way to have the users sign up to receive notices when another member fills in a cck feild with the same info? I will play around with both of these modules, but if someone has ay suggestions that would be great!!!

Thanks,

Kris

Issues with LDAP auth--Groups and removal of users

I had LDAP authentication working fine. Then I tried to use the groups integration. I have businessCategory as a multivalued LDAP attribute that contains what the user's Drupal group should be. This seemed to have no affect what-so-ever. So I thought maybe it only picks that up when it creates the user the first time...so I deleted one of the users that it had created in drupal based on my LDAP login. When I logged into Drupal with that user again, it now says it's an invalid username and login. This is not the case...that login still works for other apps that use the LDAP.

Themeing nodes - links to view instead of taxonomy

Have a page - using the sunflower theme.

For a node - the code in the theme calls:

if (module_exist("taxonomy") && ($taxonomy = taxonomy_link("taxonomy terms", $node))) {
    $output .= '<td style="text-align: right;">' . theme("links", $taxonomy) . '</td>';
  }

This generates a list of links to terms

term1 | term2 | term3

I'd like exactly the same list - but the URLs instead of being

/taxonomy/term/id

to be changed to

/myview/id

Search isn't showing stories in results.

Is there anything I need to do to have stories indexed in search results?

I've got a cron running every 30 mins, other results show during a search.... but never story related.
