I'm new to test deeply Drupal with tools/module supported by Drupal.org but I want to start to go deeper
yet. I have just few days ago published a test Site for Drupal 5 Beta 1 and I do not know if I can use the Module "develop.module" mentioned by Dries on it.

I takes my browser 30 seconds to load my add new book page on my site. The parent menu is too large and my site is doubling every week in content. Any ideas?
Looking into jQuery.js, I can tell this problem is beyond my skillset! Let me know your thoughts (especially if this is a bug, rather than a learning opportunity).

Firefox v1.5

Description:
jQuery's show('speed') function seems to prevent the parent element from resizing appropriately when a speed parameter is passed to the function. It works fine without a speed parameter, such as just using show().
I was hoping to have nodes be able to have the 'in moderation' checkbox turned on or off based on the node's vote score, but apparently that isn't an option..
here are the actions which I can assign in administer > vote_actions:
